About Us
Contrary to popular belief, there is tons of theater in LA! Dozens of shows are playing every week, but until now there hasn’t been a way to find them all.
I launched this newsletter in May of 2026, and when hundreds of people signed up in the first month, I knew the theaters’ empty seats weren’t from a lack of interest. They were from a lack of information.
I want to fill every theater in the LA area.
Please subscribe to the newsletter and share the site with your friends.
Let’s go see a Play Today… LA!
How to use the site
Every show playing in LA is on the homepage, starting with what’s on this week. Shows opening in the next couple of months are under Coming Soon.
Use the filters to narrow it down. Tap as many as you like, and tap again to turn one off. Nothing selected shows everything.
- When: This Week or Coming Soon. Our weeks run Wednesday to Tuesday.
- Where: West Side, Hollywood, Downtown, East Side, The Valley, and South Bay & OC.
- Price: based on the cheapest ticket. $ is under $25, $$ is $25 to $49, and $$$ is $50 and up.
- What: Musicals, Plays, Festivals or Other. Tap Family friendly to see only shows that are great for kids.
Looking for something specific? Tap the magnifying glass to search by show, theater or neighborhood.
The labels on each show tell you what’s happening at a glance:
- Closes [date] Last chance, it closes this week.
- Just opened Opened in the last week.
- Extended The run has been extended.
- World premiere West Coast premiere A first.
- One night only A single performance.
- Family friendly Great for kids.
